There are numerous reasons why I need to be out of this town; because everybody knows one another and thus one another's business, because there are no opportunities, because there is nothing to do, because I have no friends, because even a single snow day saddens me because it signifies another day of sitting around the house and wasting my time. There are even more reasons why I need to get study hard and be rid of all of the malicious content this town holds for me, to make new friends and do new things. Otherwise, my life feels useless, for what have I accomplished with it? What can be done without a car and in a village with less than 2,000 people? Moreover, who can I share experiences with sans a friend? I am trapped. And honestly, even though I graduate next year, I don't know if I can hold up another sixteen months and thirteen days holed up in tiny, depressing Broadalbin.

I wish that I could put such things more coherently; clearly, my writing skills have begun to dwindle. Back to me, impressive vernacular!

As some of you know and most of you don't, I am extremely liberal, and I usually keep up with politics rather avidly. However, I don't like any of the candidates in this election: Obama is far too wishy-washy and doesn't actually stand for much of anything, while Hillary is neo-conservative (and the Republicans are all insane).

Sooooo, when I heard this on Meet the Press earlier today, I practically peed my pants laughing.

In the latest sign that a conservative backlash is starting to build against John McCain, conservative commentator Ann Coulter said Thursday she is prepared to vote for Hillary Clinton over the Arizona senator in a general election match up.

Speaking on Fox's "Hannity and Colmes," Coulter took aim at the GOP frontrunner, and suggested he was little more than a Republican in name only.

"If you are looking at substance rather than if there is an R or a D after his name, manifestly, if he's our candidate, than Hillary is going to be our girl, because she's more conservative than he is," Coulter said. "I think she would be stronger on the war on terrorism."
Coulter took aim at McCain's positions — particularly his fervent anti-torture stance — and said he and Clinton differ little on the issues. Coulter also said she is prepared to campaign on Clinton's behalf should McCain win the party's nomination.
"John McCain is not only bad for Republicanism, which he definitely is — he is bad for the country," she said.

...As I sit here and laugh my little butt off at everybody. This is possibly better than A2, Brute?
